Wilson Street Gallery offers hundreds of unique, one-of-a-kind art pieces ranging from Impressionism to abstract created by some of the world’s most renowned artists. This collection of one-of-a-kind, rare and valuable paintings, is located in the heart of downtown Fulshear, Texas.
Pieces by over 80 famous artists, including Emilie Gruppe, Richard Lorenz, Louis Comfort Tiffany, Niek Van der Plas, Thomas M. Nicholas, Wayne Beam Morrell, Carl Sprinchorn, Johann Berthelsen and many others, are the feature of this beautiful art gallery.
Long-time Fulshear residents, Tim and Karen O’Neill have been lovers of art for many years. Tim O’Neill first developed his love of art in Second Grade. A wise teacher gave her students a postcard each week featuring a different famous painting with the instructions to study and learn all about the piece. Tim has been fascinated with the art world ever since.
The collection was started in 2006 with the purchase of two unsigned portraits from the 1800’s acquired at an auction house in Fairfield, Maine. Over the next five years over 150 pieces have been acquired, many of them by famous American artists. Late in 2010, Karen realized it was time to share their collection with the world. In her words, “We have always purchased paintings that we love and we hope other people will too.”
